As an archipelago, Belitung Timur certainly has
characteristics typical of coastal areas. The sprawling beaches, with white
sand and blue sea to be beautiful panorama. Many beaches that can be visited by
you during a visit to Belitung Timur, the beaches you can visit are:

Nyiur
Melambai Beach
Nyiur Melambai beach located in the
Manggar City, the capital of Belitung Timur, so it does not take time to visit
there. On weekends the beach is visited by local tourists, domestic tourists
also do not forget to visit there when they arrived in Belitung Timur.
Facilities :
Open Stage, Artshop, Toilet, Public Eating / Drinking, Mosque, Shelter,
Playground.
Nyiur Melambai Beach
2. Serdang Beach
towering pine trees beach and Kater
boat neatly lined up along the beach
becomes the main attraction, and you can hire a kater boat to go around the
coast. It is situated in Desa Baru, Manggar District and not far from the
hundreds of coffee shops in the Manggar market.

3. Bukit Batu Beach
As the name implies, namely, Bukit
Batu Beach has a typical granite sprawling along the coast, though you can still
do the activity swiming and snorkeling.

4. Burong Mandi Beach
Burong Mandi Beach is located in the
Desa Burong Mandi, Damar District. Travelling from Manggar city only takes +
20 minutes by car. kater boats colorful appeal enrich this beach. On certain
days you can see a variety of Belitong traditional art attractions such as
Beripat, and Dance Welcome Dance. You can also try to catch fish in the
traditional way (Mukat Lok.) and fishing Bebulus Fish.

5. Tambak Beach
Once you
feel sufficiently visit Burong Mandi Beach, other beach are located not
far and you can visit Tambak Beach,
located in the Desa Sukamandi, Damar District. Hundreds of pine trees and white
sand will pamper you while visiting there.

6. Punai Beach
For those of you who want to travel
to Belitung Timur through the South route of the island (Badau) then Punai beach
is a beach that can be covered. Patronage granite rocks awaits you. For you who
are adventurous, bebulus fishing and catching fish in traditional way (Mukat
Lok) is an activity you can do.

Camping de Island held Saturday-Monday, 2-4 March 2013, an activity that is initiated and implemented by the Department of Culture and tourism Belitung timur Regency, in order to increase the number of tourist visits to Belitung Timur. A total of 40 people are following the event, with a variety of backgrounds, ranging from Tour Operators, Hotel to travelers who knowingly attend this event. This activity is so special because it is not only attended by participants from within the country, 2 participants from Slovenia graced this event.
